Comedians who bring laughter to power are essential to our cultural health. When Trump goes after them, it's no joke.

Really good post from Steve Vladeck at his substack today adding perspective on administration and the courts (not as one-sided as headlines make it appear) and Paul Krugman's substack today is on visa program (and it may be worse than it seems!)

And now he’s saying is the view news? To me it looks like he’s giving his reason previewing why he’s going to go after them next. Can’t believe this is going on. Programming being programmed by someone else. Them telling us what we can watch. Does Kimmel or any of the anchors on the view have a lawsuit? He’s clearly showing that he can and will go after these shows for his opinion. There’s no cause for this none of these people have violated FCC guidelines pertaining to language or nudity. Where is the basis of evidence to go after them and remove programming? Makes no sense to me. Thank you for this article so brilliant. And appreciated.
