Don't tell watchers that we could "make fun" of you two for being so old; that's really deeply counterproductive to the goal of decency and respect for all of us working for democracy. i'm 75 and have never said, "the Google" but have heard younger people comment disparagingly about all of us seniors who are protesting every week around the country. We are all needed, and what we do has as much value as what younger people do--and I don't see younger folks out there working for, or even acknowledging, that our democracy is in mortal peril. And the two of you would never be deserving of being mocked. Period.

Hope this becomes a regular thing like you used to do IG Live. The pods and the substack posts have all been super informative for understanding what is going on. But a live back-n-forth adds another level - it helps regulars like me formulate how to talk about these thing to people around us. I'm going to let my young teen h.s. daughter, who's in journalism class, watch this one.

I have read 2/3 of Project 2025 in my political book club, and actually reading it is interesting, because we did our own interpretations. Also, I have read Kathleen Belew's book on the White Power Movement. I agree it is a must read.
