Trump has no regard for anyone’s First Amendment rights! Basically, he’s just trying to run out the clock until after the 2024 election! That strategy is nothing more than a distraction. Plus, he wants to have his case(s) tried in the media, not the courtroom. Take his face off the TV and out of other media sources and quit playing right into his hands, like in 2016! Get rid if the scumbag once and for all‼️
I'm no fan of Bill Barr, but he is completely correct that you can't defraud someone without speech. You can't slander someone without speech. You can't hire a hitman without speech. And you can't conspire with that hitman without speech.
Think of all the phishing emails aimed at your inbox each day. If your aging mom falls for them and has her life savings stolen so YOU now have to support her, are you gonna say that the spammer was just exercising his free speech rights?

Great analogy! Scammers should have zero free speech rights! 45, the orange scammer, gave up free speech with his habitual lying! Shut him down!
Oh, they have free speech rights. But they can't USE them to scam people. It is the use of the speech that matters.
