I have a friend who's an anti-vaxxer, pro RFK Jr., who sent me an email about how our civil liberties have been destroyed by the SC giving the Biden Admin temporary relief. I pointed out to him it isn't a final decision, and that the Biden Admin didn't coerce or silence (his wildly exagerated words). Vladeck's piece clarified that the case will come down to the line between persuasion and coercion, where there is retribution for non-compliance in the latter, which there was not, as I understand it.

I read something over the weekend maybe Time Mag or NY Times about Chesebro having clerked for legendary DC judge Gerhard Gesell. And for Lawrence Tribe. His personality and professional efforts seem to change with the wind. One question: with Powell and Chesebro flipping will they pro forma automatically lose their license to practice law (if there is such a thing)? Or they may continue? Grateful for you Asha.
