Is there a way to collect data snd display outcomes for the country when there are different power bases? R President and R congress. D Pres and D congress. R Pres and D Congress and D Pres snd R Congress. Compare GDP jobs created or list mortgage rates inflation rates number of impactful bills passed level of debt increase or decrease and other indicators that would be helpful. Rather than just listening to the talking points of each party the data would tell a truer story.

I agree, Paula, this might be very helpful, but one would also need to know context. 1 example - inflation under President Biden. Was he responsible (somewhat perhaps due to ARA, not cutting tariffs) or was it COVID which suppressed consumer spending and disrupted the global supply change? So when COVID ends, consumers have cash, demand exceeds supply, and we have inflation. Now inflation is down (thanks to FED, increased supply, stimulus influence now past). Key to me to be understanding now only the charts, but who or what makes the charts move.

Thanks for the written chart to complement this great discussion.

I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I assumed Lucy Cannon was going to punt this case as far as she could past the election. She thinks there will be a future payoff, but he doesn't pay his bills so she's going to be shocked when she finds her sad little career in ruins and nothing to show for it but the appreciation of a dumb cult.
