I have to say, I was still recovering from Trump hawking his "Make America Prey, I mean Pray, Again" Bible 🔥and then he posts this very disturbing video of the Biden kidnapped tailgate meme. From one new low to yet another.

Seriously, he knows what he's doing, does this potentially constitute a new crime of incitement (or something) in real time? He's not President now, can he be charged soon for this or at least jailed as a danger to Biden and all the other people he's threatening, however the fancy takes him?

Thanks Asha, you and Renato crack me up every week as well as enlighten me!

Do you mean Thursday, April 25 (not 26) for the Zoom Office Hours?

I always open the round up email first! The upside of the bond reduction is something that George Conway observed: if he can and does pay this reduced amount, it is money that the NY AG will be able to collect on the fine rather than go through the task of tracking the assets that can be seized, and determining the legal actions that can be taken in that complex web of "business dealings" that Trump conducted. I am sure AG James has already set to work on some of that especially to prevent any assets suddenly being sold off and hidden in his filthy mattress. And as George Conway also observed, if he cannot come up with the reduced amount, regardless of whether it is the nearly $500,000,000 (I had to triple check my zeroes, it somehow seemed inaccurate!!!!) or the reduced amount (it is $175 million, right?) So in a way, it isn't too important, and may actually be a good thing. I was glad to read and hear this commentary from him on CNN as it put an accurate and positive / uplifting spin on a story that seemed "there he goes again, getting away with everything short of murder".

Regarding the social media threats, its obviously seen as a disgrace to any of the civilized people out there left in our country (the majority, I firmly believe!). Unfortunately, it sets a low, infantile, and undeniably dangerous "standard" (if it can be called that). I don't think Trump is clever enough to do much of this stuff, although he likes it because it releases his anger and frustration in living his unhappy, and miserable life. Its simply cathartic for him to take his primal aggression of loss to Joe Biden fair and square (and rightly so), and all his devious little plans to undue that loss failing. From my perspective, I see him being used by all sorts of bad actors behind the scenes. Intelligent and manipulative people (be it Vladdy Daddy, as Asha so cleverly dubbed the Russian Czar or the Stephen Millers, Bannons, or Mercer family people types out to overthrow the Democratically elected leaders and put John Birch Society fascists into control) see this as an opportunity to get their agendas addressed by appealing to his desperate and unquenchable thirst for love, attention, and validation. The Biden post I was not aware of, but perhaps the Secret Service should investigate "Broke Don" for this threat to the President. Maybe it is appropriate that it is Holy Week for many of us, and we can focus on a greater power (God, or whatever anyone believes in for Universal good) and realize that we may desperately want to see justice done, and we are very impatient to see it after the constant rubbish since 2015, but there is that cliche saying "God works in mysterious ways" as well as "It ain't over until it's over." We may never see justice done with that (censored) Trump, but if you believe in the dynamics of how the universe operates with the constant back and forth between good and evil, the Justice will be meted out somehow. We just don't get to see the whole picture or read the entire story. All I can close with is, "Think nice thoughts!"

My hope is that Trump will get disciplined completely that the law will allow in the end and never set foot in the White House again!

Having listened to the Supreme Court hearing, the question of standing definitely took up a lot of time. I’m hoping that the ruling reflects the lack thereof of the hastily cobbled together group of doctors. Of course, it would have been better if the Supremes had not taken the case at all.

Your comment about "speculative standing" on Mifepristone intrigued me. The standing of the Dr's does seem pretty tough to swallow. But then I wondered who else could plausibly bring a similar suit and have a more traditional version of standing? It seems like the women who use Mifepristone and have serious side effects might be able to. But all prescription meds come with labels that indicate possible undesirable effects. And all meds have some possibility of undesirable effects so we can't ban everything. Perhaps states that outlaw abortion might claim that they are being injured as Mifepristone is an "end run" to evade their state laws? Curious if you have any thoughts on this? As always, appreciate your time and effort....

Looking forward to the upcoming episode, always appreciate your insight. Trumps behavior is utterly sickening and I’m not sure what the DOJ and FBI are doing about this??
