I finally downloaded the Apple Podcast app and now following “It’s Complicated.” Excellent discussion between you and Renato (including your quick wardrobe change...LOL). My gut feeling is Bragg would NOT hand down a Trump indictment without having substantial “meat” in addition to the Stormy Daniels’ counts. Michael Cohen testified dozens of times in front of that grand jury and knows where many “bodies are buried” in the Trump Organization. I understand what Renato is saying about prosecutors creating multiple counts for one criminal act, but with a reported 30+ counts of business fraud in the indictment gives me hope that when it’s unsealed next Tuesday, included will be fraud for inflating property values to secure bank loans, deflating property values for tax evasion, etc. Hopefully details of the indictment are enough to shut up Trump’s more moderate GOP supporters.
I have yet to make it to Zoom office hours. I know I can’t make it at 9 AM on the 12th as I’ll be teaching my own students in a revamped intro to computers class at the community college. The second class meeting is normally the one where I cover research skills like using databases and now how to include discussion of ChatGPT & friends.
