Reflexive control and Putin's continual threat of the use of escalation if ... Hmmmm. And hope you had great college visits with your son. On the one hand, an at times nerve wracking decision to make - which school to attend. On the other hand, "Where You Go is Not Who You Will Be", by Frank Bruni, provides important context for this decision.
Downtown New Haven..You have great time with free Music on "The Green" there's always adjacent Derby/Ansonia with a "mix of many cultures" ..stop regretting New Haven had a lot of Health Food Stores back in 70's,80's Ms.Asha
So a 5th grade girl in Florida discovers blood when she's in the restroom (as I did, though it was 7th grade and we'd had the film--this was in 1956). But this girl runs to teacher in a panic: I'm bleeding.
And teacher is forced to say "sorry, can't talk about that. The nurse won't be able to help you."
Now, a 5th grade boy finds, in the restroom, that his knee is bloody from a skid on the playground. Runs to teacher, who sends him to school nurse.
Anything here suggest an Equal Protection problem?
I spent 1971-1975 in Lexington VA at Washington and Lee University, having grown up in D.C.
Always enjoyed the drive down 29/211 through Charlottesville, rather than heading west to I-81 south, which was boring, with lots of 18 wheelers (and at one time the speed limit was 75 MPH).
Also try to take MD/VA 301 to 17S thru the Williamsburg area when driving to VA Beach or OBX, rather than 95S, for both the scenery and to avoid the 95S bottlenecks in VA.
Enjoyed Skyline Drive through Virginia, while coming back from Charlottesville, love UVA, love EAPoe’s room with the poem scratched on the glass. About the documents, I’m mystified at how sloppy this whole classified documents thing has gotten, especially with this kid stealing the volume of secrets that he did. Some companies and corporations I’ve done graphic work for have very secure servers and track printouts make it impossible to copy, etc. etc. I don’t think anyone could have gotten away with stealing digital property for very long and as sloppily as Texeira. Gives one pause.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, there's a solution to problems like anti-abortion zealot judges, crazy state-level legislation, and the embrace of authoritarianism by a major political party that everyone can participate in. It's called voting.
Switching gears, I am generally pro-free speech, pro-free press, and anti-censorship. However, when entities like Fox News knowingly lie and cost innocent people money, not to mention security, legal action is appropriate. Here's to hoping a blizzard of lawsuits follows the Dominion settlement.
