In addition to “impeachment” in danger of losing its significance, so has the swearing in of the POTUS (Trump) and many MAGA Republican members of Congress who placed their hand on the Bible and swore to uphold the US Constitution. The Founding Fathers never imagined the rise of such a corrupt, treasonous traitor as POTUS with a cult-like following that attempted to overturn the results of a presidential election!!!
One of the things I find particularly amusing about much of today's GOP is the fact they profess to be anti-Communist yet lean towards Vladimir Putin. Last I checked, Putin is a product of a Communist system. In fact, he's its alpha. It's also no coincidence the world's remaining Communist states and parties support Putin.
I totally agree the idea of impeaching Biden is meant to dilute the meaning of the word. Of course, it also echoes the Russian tactic of creating false equivalencies.

Surely part of the point here is to make people think “if I say anything against Trump or any Republican, life is just going to be miserable for years.” Which is how we’ll get, for example, Trump making his son-in-law Secretary of State in a second term.
