Thanks for doing this substack! One question about the relation between the SC and AG. Does the AG's over-ruling go both ways? If the SC decides not to prosecute, can the AG over-rule him and tell him to prosecute? I know it seems unlikely, but per the regulations does anything prevent that?

I was one of the 3% (not sure I like that reference :) ) in the poll. But I have been thinking about it and what changed my mind was that this special counsel might turn out to be the 'fast track' version. We have a chaotic season coming up when the next session of Congress comes on board with their revenge politics so any progress now will be able to drown out some of that noise.

Good info! Thanks for the clarifications in the video. Particularly your explanation regarding the final decision to, or not to, prosecute. Gotta admit I have to move on from my preference for "Dosa" and just appreciate Pancake for who he is. ;-)

I found an example of disinformation in climate science courtesy of Michael Mann: "The basic strategy is as follows: Use professional trolls to amplify a particular meme on social media, and send in an army of bots to amplify it, baiting genuine individuals to join the fray. The idea is to generate a food fight ... and thereby generate polarization and conflict."

Thank you Asha for explaining. I hope Smith speed up the process. Asha do you have any idea how long this will take?

Thank you, Asha, for your insight to the appointment of Attorney Smith. The regs are easy to understand.

I’ve another burning question- will the dismissal of the case before Judge Cannon mean Trump won’t have to pay the Special Master fees and expenses?

Thanks, clears up some things. Video would not play on my IPad. Is it for paid only people?
