Fantastic work, Asha! This should be required reading for the nine justices.

Great write-up. I wonder where Supreme Court hoochies like Thomas & Alito sit in this spread…prob a Venn overlap 🤓

Assuming they all bother to read, even the briefs and the case records submitted to them before issuing their knee-jerk decisions.

Looking at you, roberts, alito, thomas, gorsuch, kavanaugh, and barrett.

Such a disgrace we have a Supreme Court that uses Barbossa’s Pirate Code* as its Code of Ethics…. *”The code is more what you'd call 'guidelines' than actual rules…” 🤡

Excellent commentary, very informative.

After your third category I began thinking of it as working outward by level in Dante's "Inferno".

Thank you for this lucid analysis. It has great relevance not only to the Epstein situation but to ways in which others are complicit in Trump’s criminal and immoral conduct.

One thing for certain, well, 2 things: "the truth will find you out" and we're getting one heck of a legal education! Plus, live a decent life and there's less to worry about. Thank you, professor Asha.

Thanks so much for all you do to inform those of us who want to understand all of what is happening in our world today

You’ve written so many powerful pieces. I can’t say which one is the most powerful. But this by far is one of the most powerful pieces you’ve ever written. You answered every question I’ve had. You’ve connected the dots. As I mentioned in my last comment. About the 10 co conspirators who are they and what they did? You answered everything brilliantly about this whole case. Like I mentioned in one of the comments. The Questions should always come back to why we’re young girls repeatedly sent to Epsteins private home off of property to do private massages when girls complained of him exposing himself nude??? He’s proven to be a known predator and should’ve been jailed right there. But was allowed to put these young girls through we don’t know what. Until one brave woman came forward and said what he did. Only then was an action taken. Add to the fact he was never a member of the club but allowed private massages at his residence. You answered the question there. Larry sommers you answered the question. I’ll add I keep asking about the wife. His wife telling Jeffrey about another book she read on the subject matter of Lolita and that she was going to get it for him and suggested he read it. And mentioned her kids were reading it. That was also very disturbing to me. It looked like they knew he was disturbed and liked this and pushed more of that content. Acosta looks like he is complicit in getting that deal and going over board to do something he shouldn’t have done. That’s when I first heard about this and I thought how is Epstein getting away with this? Back then they were acting as the story was simple prostitution. But nobody was speaking out that these were Children. To some degree I think in this piece you’ve solved the Epstein Files. You’ve connected the dots. And have given us more then we’ll see in a file. At this point all we need is the pictures with Epstein and Maxwell in the Center of the target investigation. Like the ones we see in Movies when they are investigating an enterprise. What you’ve done is put that target up. We can all see it in our heads. Thank you for your precise diligent reporting on this piece. This is masterful. I hope Erin Burnett from CNN has you on her show cause you need to break it down there like you did here. This is Journalist Award shit. Brilliant!!!!!! Thank you Asha you are genius.

Thank You Asha. I appreciate that you like this. It means the world. I really appreciate what you’ve done. You’ve done a tremendous job uncovering what people have not been able to uncover. The part about the co conspirator maybe being a victim makes so much sense. Kind of like that Nexum trial with Alex Mack. That point kind of reminded me of that.

Great work, Asha! Too many actors in this nightmare....

This is terrific. What are your thoughts on the appropriate term or category for people such as housekeepers or chauffeurs who knew what was going on? They wouldn’t have had the power or resources to do something about it. But is there some complicity in their choosing to remain employed by him?

Asha Rangappa's avatar

I would put them as collaborators, depending on how necessart they were to the trafficking operation. Chauffeurs for sure. Housekeepers are a little murkier, though they are at the very least bystanders who could report

Fascinating and extraordinarily thorough work! I agree with the second to comment here--to share it with our corrupt Supreme Court Justices!

Thank you for clarifying these terms. They tend to run together in my mind but begin to stand out now in the context you provided.

I’m going to support you on substack… this is such an eye opening article.

Now I’m wondering, will charges be brought against ICE agents who shot the woman in Minneapolis today? Or the supervisor in charge, if that’s possible? Like… where is the law that protects us against THEM in this situation?
